Looking Over The Edge Of Our Children’s Futures

It is important that we know the full range of our human possibilities. Otherwise, we might come to think that the way we live is the only way to live.

In the past "frontier" has been understood to mean an ambiguous territorial boundary between Indigenous populations around the world and ever-expanding colonial settlements.

While some still argue imperial expansion, I suggest that we are at yet another frontier...one that is systematically positioned between our children and their futures.
